Fahriye Evcen and Murat Yildirim star in GoTürkiye's new miniseries "Turquoise Summer," a story-driven tourism production that brings Bodrum and Gocek to international audiences through a cinematic romantic narrative.
Released by the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), the miniseries places the natural beauty of the two coastal destinations at the center of its story, showing their bays, sea and local lifestyle through a visual format designed for digital viewers.
The production stars Evcen and Yildirim in the leading roles, while Sedef Avci, Aslihan Karalar and Yilmaz Bayraktar also take part in the cast.
Directed by Semih Bagci and written by Kemal Hamamcioglu, "Turquoise Summer" follows the broader GoTürkiye approach of promoting the country's tourism values through story-based content rather than conventional advertising.
According to TGA, GoTürkiye's miniseries released so far on international digital platforms have reached 7.69 billion ad impressions and 4.4 billion views.
Promotional content published as part of the miniseries format has also generated 1.65 billion impressions and 422 million views, while episode-based content has reached 6.05 billion impressions and 4 billion views.
The new production follows earlier GoTürkiye titles that drew large digital audiences. "An Istanbul Story" reached 2.53 billion ad impressions and 1.56 billion views, while "Hidden Lover" recorded 1.57 billion ad impressions and 977 million views.
Another previous production, "Cappadocia Fairytale," reached 355 million ad impressions and 298 million views, adding to the digital campaign's growing portfolio before the release of "Turquoise Summer."
