Students across Türkiye have until May 5 to join a unique creative journey through the "Fragmanlar" (Fragments) project.
IVA Art and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University collaborate to host this initiative, which challenges young artists to transform a single detail into a unique universe.
Organizers view the fragment not as a copy or a quote but as a "threshold that starts the creative process.
The project aims to reveal how a single source can trigger "completely different universes in the perceptions, intuitions, and disciplines of different students."
Participants will produce original works by following their own expression styles and production methods rather than simply replicating a provided piece.
This opportunity allows students to gain visibility and become part of a professional production cycle early in their careers.
All undergraduate and graduate students in Türkiye are eligible to apply, and the project supports a wide variety of artistic mediums:
Interested students should visit the official website for more details.
A jury consisting of representatives from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and IVA Art will evaluate each submission to ensure artistic quality and conceptual depth.
The jury will announce selection results on May 7, following the official review.
Selected works will headline a special exhibition at the Tophane-i Amire Culture and Arts Center, where art enthusiasts can explore the collection from May 20 to May 24.
