Composer, songwriter and singer Sami Yusuf will perform four concerts in Ankara and Istanbul this September as part of "Roots," a new program developed exclusively for audiences in Türkiye.
Yusuf will take the stage at ATO Congresium in Ankara on Sept. 23-24 before moving on to Harbiye Auditorium at the Istanbul Congress Center for performances on Sept. 27-28, according to the organizers.
The concerts will mark Yusuf's return to Türkiye after his "Between Two Seas" performance at Istanbul's Yenikapi event area last year.
Alongside some of his best-known works, the artist will perform selections drawn from different periods of his career. Original arrangements and a specially prepared visual production will also accompany the program, which will bring out both the musical and spiritual dimensions of his work.
Yusuf's distinctive style brings together Sufi music, a spiritually focused musical tradition associated with Islamic mysticism, with classical Eastern melodies and symphonic arrangements.

Yusuf personally selected ATO Congresium and Harbiye Auditorium because of their acoustic qualities and atmospheres, which are expected to help him build a closer connection with concertgoers.
The concerts are being organized by 3Z Organization and WOVO. Tickets have gone on sale through Biletix, Biletinial and Bubilet, with audiences from Türkiye and international visitors from regions including the United States and Asia expected to attend.
Yusuf has sold more than 45 million albums worldwide and recorded over 1 billion streams across digital platforms.
In recent years, Yusuf has also drawn international attention for his humanitarian efforts and his public support for Gaza.
Through songs such as "Forever Palestine" and "Try Not to Cry," he has expressed solidarity with Palestinians.
He also donated part of the proceeds from concerts held in Istanbul and Amman in 2025 to humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza.
