Soul singer Imany performed at Istanbul's Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre as part of her "Women Deserve Rage" European tour, opening the Türkiye leg of her program with a concert organized by Piu Entertainment.
The show brought together songs from "Women Deserve Rage," the album she released last year and has described as one of the most personal and powerful works of her career.
The open-air venue, one of Istanbul's best-known outdoor concert stages, hosted the artist as she returned to the city for another performance before her audience in Türkiye.
Speaking at the start of the concert, Imany said Istanbul was one of the most beautiful cities in the world and that coming to the city had always been an honor for her.
She told the audience, "Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is always an honor for me to come here. I will be forever grateful that you are here every time I come."
During the concert, Imany performed several songs from her latest album, including "Mad," "Your Funeral," "Home" and "When It Comes."
Alongside her new repertoire, she also sang some of her best-known tracks, including "Don't Be So Shy," which has reached more than 1 billion streams worldwide, and "You Will Never Know."
Imany began her Türkiye tour in Istanbul and is scheduled to perform next at Ankara ATO Congresium on June 29.
