U.S. rapper Travis Scott is set to perform in Türkiye for the first time on May 31, with ticket prices for his Istanbul show drawing attention after sales opened for the limited-capacity event.

The concert, titled “One Night Only in the Club with Travis Scott,” will take place at the Grand Factory Tersane Istanbul, with only 2,500 tickets made available. Despite the restricted capacity, the event recorded 52,000 pre-registrations, according to information shared in the source text.

Limited-capacity show sells out early categories

The first ticket categories for the concert quickly sold out after sales began. General admission tickets were initially offered at ₺30,000 ($658), while backstage tickets were listed at ₺60,000 ($1,316).

A second phase of tickets remained available at higher prices, with general admission listed at ₺40,000 and backstage access priced at ₺80,000.

Cheapest ticket exceeds minimum wage

The ticket prices became a topic of discussion on social media, particularly because even the lowest-priced ticket, at ₺30,000, was described as higher than Türkiye’s monthly minimum wage.

The event has been presented as a special experience with a small audience, rather than a large-scale stadium or arena concert. With Travis Scott making his first appearance in Türkiye and demand far exceeding the available capacity, the Istanbul performance is expected to stand out as one of the most closely watched music events of the year.
