Türkiye’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva hosted a screening of the film Kelebegin Ruyasi on October 31, 2025, as part of the ongoing "2025 MIKTA (Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Türkiye, and Australia) Film Festival," an informal consultation and coordination platform.

Cultural diplomacy

Kelebegin Ruyasi was well received by the audience. The MIKTA Film Festival is an annual cultural diplomacy initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation among member countries through cinema.

The festival promotes cultural exchange, facilitates dialogue, and highlights global issues through film screenings, panels, and workshops. Türkiye regularly hosts events as part of the festival to showcase Turkish cinema and culture.

Kelebegin Ruyasi is considered an important work of Turkish literature and cinema, selected for its ability to reflect Türkiye's cultural heritage while introducing it to an international audience.
