World-renowned illusionists and Türkiye’s talented magicians came together at the Türkiye Magic Festival (TMF) held at the Trump Culture and Performance Center in Istanbul. The two-day event drew large audiences of all ages, showcasing an impressive lineup of magical performances.
The festival featured gala shows, interactive performances, live acts and stage illusions, captivating attendees with unforgettable moments.
The gala shows featured Türkiye’s Kivanc and Burak, Germany’s Julius Frack and Alana, Brazil’s Alain Simonov and Taiwan’s Cheng Chung Yao, delighting audiences with a variety of magical acts.
Ozgur Kapmaz, head of the Turkish Illusionists Association, stated that the festival took approximately 1.5 years of preparation. He explained that the long-term planning in collaboration with the Federation Internationale des Societes Magiques (FISM) made bringing this dream to life a significant achievement. Kapmaz emphasized that the participation of magicians from Europe and Asia demonstrated Istanbul’s and the festival’s strong appeal.
He also highlighted that the festival opens an important door for young magicians to gain international exposure.
The festival took place on Jan. 24–25 and received high praise from visitors of all ages, offering a unique blend of art, entertainment and international talent.
