The Türkiye Atolyesi Misafir Sanatci Programi (Türkiye Workshop Guest Artist Program) is now accepting applications for its 2027 term. Run by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris, the program gives artists in visual arts, experimental film, design, performance art, music, and literature a chance to live and work in Paris for three months.

Artists can submit their applications online until 5:00 p.m. local time on October 2, 2026.

Candidates are chosen through an open call and reviewed by three different committees, each made up of experts in their fields.

The visual arts committee includes Celenk Bafra, Sena Basoz, Ozer Dicle, Kevser Guler and Yasemin Ozcan. The music committee includes Yesim Gurer Oymak, Rana Uludag and Ahmet Ulug, while the literature committee includes Yigit Bener, Didem Ermis Sezer and Sibel Oral.

Candidates who pass the first round will be invited to meet with committee members and the IKSV team to talk about their work and the projects they want to develop during the residency. IKSV will share the names of the selected artists on its website, iksv.org, and on its social media accounts.

Program has hosted 59 artists since 2009

Since 2009, the Türkiye Workshop has hosted 59 artists in Paris. In 2026, the program expanded to include literature and music in addition to visual arts. IKSV's Young Artist Fund (Genc Sanatci Fonu) supports it.

The Cite Internationale des Arts in central Paris welcomes about 300 visual artists, musicians, and performers from around the world each year. Stays can last from two months to one year. The center offers individual studios, exhibition spaces, rehearsal rooms, and venues for concerts and performances. IKSV is one of 135 partner institutions connected to the center.
