Turkish actor Murat Yildirim and his Moroccan wife, actor Iman Elbani, are expecting another child, the couple announced Wednesday with a series of photographs shared publicly.
Elbani's pregnancy marks another milestone for the couple, who have been married since 2016.
Yildirim and Elbani became parents to their daughter Miray in October 2022, around six years after they married.
The couple has now shared their latest news through photographs, confirming that they are preparing to welcome another child.
Born in Konya in 1979, Murat Yildirim studied mechanical engineering at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, where he also took part in amateur theater productions before moving into professional acting.
He began building wider recognition with the television drama "Firtina" in 2006 and went on to take leading roles in some of Türkiye's widely watched television productions, including "Asi, Ask ve Ceza and Suskunlar."
In later years, he returned to leading television roles through productions such as "Ramo, Aziz and Teskilat," while also appearing in a number of feature films.
Yildirim has also worked as a television presenter, including a period hosting "Kim Milyoner Olmak Ister?," the Turkish adaptation of the international quiz-show format "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"
Iman Elbani is a Moroccan actress and model who first became known through beauty pageants in Morocco before moving into acting and modeling. Moroccan media have described her as a former Miss Morocco, while she has also appeared in Moroccan television productions.
Elbani's public profile later expanded in Türkiye following her relationship and marriage to Yildirim. The couple married in 2016, bringing together two figures from the Turkish and Moroccan entertainment industries, and welcomed their daughter Miray in October 2022.
