The high-profile breakup between actor Hande Ercel and businessman Hakan Sabanci has taken a sharp turn after a social media user alleged that Sabanci cheated with his former partner, model Jocelyn Chew, while the relationship with Ercel was still ongoing; Sabanci later issued a brief denial, saying, “But there is no cheating.”
A user who said they were connected to Chew posted a message accusing Sabanci of having resumed contact with his ex during the Ercel relationship and asserted that it had been going on “for months,” pointing to the night the couple attended the Andrea Bocelli concert in Istanbul as an early moment.
The same post alleged that Sabanci and Chew were in Bodrum at present. The message read in part: “Hande ercel, I feel so so sorry to you … hakan sabanci … has cheated from you loongg ago with his ex … since before you and hakan watching bocelli concert in istanbul, and now they are in bodrum … the reason marriage is alibi/bullshit.”

In the days after the breakup, Sabanci was photographed out with friends in cheerful spirits, while Ercel appeared visibly downcast in front of cameras.
When reporters asked whether cheating was involved, the question went unanswered on the spot, which further amplified the chatter online.
References to Chew revived memories of Sabanci’s brief relationship with the model in 2018, when the pair traveled to Cappadocia.
Those earlier images and reports have now been pulled into the current discussion as fans and observers try to make sense of the timeline.
Speaking to the TV program “Gel Konusalim,” Sabanci declined to go into details, calling the separation a private matter, and added a one-line response to the core allegation: “There is no cheating.”
