In the eastern province of Türkiye, a mother red fox and her four cubs have emerged from their underground den into the grassy meadows of Kars.
Following a long and harsh winter, the native wildlife begins to revive as these foxes venture out into the open terrain of the Selim district.
Red foxes typically give birth during April and May, choosing to raise and protect their young in deep underground burrows.
These four fox cubs spend much of their time playing right outside the entrance of their den.
The mother fox was observed carrying gathered food back to the den near the Kars-Kagizman highway to sustain her growing litter.
These clever and alert predators face harsh natural conditions as they balance hunting activities with teaching their cubs survival skills.
