The Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) announced Tuesday plans to assist millions of families in need worldwide during the holy month of Ramadan, with a target of reaching 3 million people across 66 countries.
According to a statement from the foundation, the campaign will be carried out under the slogan "Ramadan: A Call to Brotherhood."
It will cover Türkiye as well as regions across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and South America.
IHH said its annual Ramadan program will focus on supporting vulnerable communities facing poverty, displacement and humanitarian crises.
The foundation aims to expand its outreach through food assistance, iftar meals and charitable donations during the month.
The campaign is expected to reach families in conflict-affected and economically struggling areas, providing essential support during Ramadan.
As part of the initiative, IHH has determined the costs of key aid packages. A standard food parcel has been set at ₺1,400 (about $32), while the cost of providing an iftar meal for one person is ₺240 (about $5.50).
The foundation also announced that the cost of holiday clothing support for children and families has been set at ₺1,400 (about $32).
In addition to its international efforts, IHH will continue aid distribution within Türkiye. The foundation plans to deliver food parcels and food cards to 45,000 families across all 81 provinces.
The domestic program aims to ensure that families facing hardship in Türkiye can access basic necessities throughout Ramadan.
IHH said its humanitarian work will remain active in regions affected by war and ongoing crises, particularly in Palestine, Sudan and Lebanon.
The foundation highlighted that civilians in these areas face severe challenges in accessing food and essential supplies due to conflict and economic instability. Aid will include food parcels, iftar meals, holiday clothing, and religious donations such as zakat, fitrah and fidyah.
Donors will be able to support the campaign through direct contributions, including SMS donations, to help Muslims in need in Türkiye and around the world.
