Turkish actor Burak Ozcivit has come under renewed attention following claims that he has expanded his real estate portfolio into the Gulf, with reported purchases in Abu Dhabi and Dubai adding to his previously known assets in Türkiye.
According to statements shared on a television program, the actor is said to have bought an 11-room luxury mansion in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. In addition, he allegedly owns three apartments in residential projects in Dubai, a city widely recognized for its high-rise developments and international property market.
These claims were relayed by journalist Mehmet Ustundag during an appearance on the TV8 program “Gel Konusalim,” a Turkish entertainment talk show where media figures often discuss industry developments and celebrity news.
The reported Abu Dhabi purchase centers on an 11-room luxury mansion, a scale that signals a significant investment in the region’s high-end property segment. While no financial details were disclosed regarding the Gulf properties, the number of rooms and the location suggest a premium asset in one of the Middle East’s most prominent capitals.
In Dubai, Ozcivit is alleged to have acquired three separate apartments within residential projects. Such developments in Dubai typically cater to both international investors and residents, reflecting the city’s position as a global real estate hub.
These reported acquisitions in the United Arab Emirates appear to broaden the actor’s investment footprint beyond Türkiye.
Beyond the Gulf, backstage information shared on the same program suggested that Ozcivit has also been collecting apartments in the Eyup district of Istanbul. Eyup is a historic area on the European side of the city, known for its residential neighborhoods and proximity to central Istanbul.
Separately, the actor was recently photographed in the Etiler district of Istanbul with a luxury vehicle bearing a special license plate. The market value of the car was reported to be approximately ₺35 million (over $800,000).
The recent claims have also brought renewed attention to Ozcivit’s previously known summer residence in Bodrum, a coastal resort town in southwestern Türkiye that is popular with domestic and international buyers.
In 2024, Ozcivit and his wife, actress Fahriye Evcen, were seen at their newly purchased summer house in the Turgutreis area of Bodrum. The couple was observed meeting with craftsmen and personally overseeing details of the property, which reportedly features a large garden and a swimming pool.
Ozcivit and Evcen’s relationship began as a friendship on a film set before developing into a romantic partnership.
The couple married in 2017 and later welcomed two sons, Karan in 2019 and Kerem in 2023.
