Türkiye will host the 5th Istanbul International Water Forum in Istanbul on May 5-6, bringing together global leaders and experts to focus on water resilience and long-term solutions, Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli said.
In a post shared on his social media account, Yumakli said the forum is set to bring together leading figures and specialists in the field of water management. He pointed out that the event aims to strengthen international cooperation while helping to shape the future through innovation.
The forum is expected to serve as a platform where participants can exchange knowledge and experience, particularly on how to deal with growing water-related challenges worldwide.
Highlighting the importance of collaboration, Yumakli said Türkiye is working to turn its determination to protect every drop of water into a broader global vision through shared experience and collective thinking.
“On May 5-6, at the 5th Istanbul International Water Forum that we will host in Istanbul, we are coming together with water leaders and experts to enhance water resilience and develop lasting solutions. With the experience and collective wisdom coming from all around the world, we are transforming our determination to protect every drop of water into a global vision.”
