Magnitude 4.0 earthquake strikes Türkiye's resort town of Alanya

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck the Mediterranean resort town of Alanya on Sunday evening, according Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The quake occurred at approximately 8:31 p.m. local time at a depth of 12.75 kilometers, AFAD said..

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. Emergency services remain on alert as officials continue to monitor the situation.
