The private relationship between Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe and Spanish actress Ester Exposito reportedly came to light after the French footballer briefly shared and then deleted a photograph from a hotel room in Miami.
Mbappe traveled to the U.S. city after finishing the 2026 FIFA World Cup with France, while Exposito reportedly joined him following several earlier meetings that the pair had kept away from public attention.
Mbappe, who scored 10 goals during the World Cup as France finished fourth, spent part of his post-tournament break at restaurants and entertainment venues in Miami.
According to the report, he and Exposito met up with friends for dinner at a well-known restaurant before going to a nightclub inside a luxury hotel. The pair remained in a private box during the event, apparently seeking to stay away from wider attention.
Although they had previously been seen together, neither Mbappe nor Exposito had publicly confirmed that they were in a relationship.
The speculation intensified after Mbappe uploaded a photograph of Exposito to his Instagram Story by mistake.
The image showed the actress posing inside a hotel room while wearing a France national team shirt and shorts. Mbappe took down the post within seconds, but copies of the picture had already begun circulating online.
The photograph was widely presented as the clearest indication so far that the footballer and actress were spending time together privately in Miami.
Mbappe and Exposito were also reported to have watched the World Cup final together in a luxury yacht off the Miami coast.
Spain, Exposito's home country, beat Argentina 1-0 in the final to lift the trophy. The pair was later seen together at a celebratory dinner following the match.
Their Miami appearances followed several earlier reported meetings, including a Real Madrid match in March, a bowling outing in Paris in April and a yacht holiday in Italy in May.
