Turkish writer Metin Hara has denied claims circulating on social media about his past relationship with Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima, saying statements attributed to him were fabricated and warning that he could take legal action if the reports continue.
The allegations suggested that Hara had claimed he was the one who ended their relationship and that Lima repeatedly contacted him following their breakup.
However, Hara rejected the remarks attributed to him, maintaining that reports about his private life contained inaccurate information.
Responding to the allegations, Hara called on anyone claiming to have audio recordings, written documents or other concrete evidence supporting the reported statements to make them public.
He emphasized that the remarks circulating in the media and on social platforms did not belong to him and said he would exercise his legal rights if publications containing false claims continued.
Hara and Lima previously attracted considerable media attention during their relationship, which also brought the Brazilian model to Türkiye.
While they were together, Lima traveled to the country to visit Hara, and the couple spent time vacationing in Bodrum, a popular coastal destination in southwestern Türkiye.
Their past relationship has now returned to the headlines following the disputed claims, which Hara has publicly denied.
