Türkiye’s Health Ministry has introduced a new feature to its digital health platform e-Nabiz that allows patients to check which pharmacies carry their prescribed medicines within seconds.

The feature, called “Ilacim Nerede?” (Where Is My Medicine?) aims to reduce the time patients spend searching for medication by showing which pharmacies currently have the prescribed drug in stock.

Officials added the tool as part of ongoing efforts to expand Türkiye’s digital health services.

Users who have an e-Nabiz account can now log into the system and see which pharmacies stock the medicines listed on their prescriptions.

New feature locates prescription medicines

The system allows patients to search for medicines included in prescriptions issued within the last five days.

Users can view pharmacies that carry the medication based on district-level location data.

The platform also allows searches for on-duty pharmacies. This option helps patients who cannot visit a pharmacy during regular working hours but still need to access their medication.

After selecting a pharmacy, users can launch navigation through the app to reach the location more easily.

Health authorities say the feature aims to simplify the process of obtaining prescriptions and reduce the need to visit multiple pharmacies in search of a specific drug.

Stock updates, phone confirmation, user feedback

The system also includes a warning for patients regarding pharmacy stock information.

According to the message displayed in the “Ilacim Nerede?” tab, the stock data shown in the application reflects inventory from the previous day.

Because the medication may have been dispensed to another patient after that update, users are advised to call the pharmacy to confirm availability before visiting.

The application also includes a feedback system designed to improve the accuracy of pharmacy information.

Through this feature, users can report issues related to several types of pharmacy information, including:

  • medicine stock availability
  • pharmacy address and phone information
  • map location accuracy

Authorities say this feedback will help keep the system’s information updated and improve the reliability of pharmacy listings within the platform.
