Turkish actress Oyku Celik accepted a marriage proposal from Turkish businessman Ali Cakici, the son of Alaattin Cakici, a figure associated with organized crime in Türkiye. Celik publicly revealed her relationship with Ali Cakici three years ago by sharing a photo on social media.

A post that hints at the next chapter

After the proposal, Celik shared photos with her partner on social media, captioning them “Sonraki bolum” (Next episode). In the post, she can be seen saying “Evet” (yes) to the proposal.

Previous marriage and personal timeline

Celik was previously married to businessman Ahmet Murat Cakan; the marriage lasted 15 months and ended in 2015.

Career snapshot that set the stage

Born in 1987 in Istanbul, Celik studied at the Bilkent University Theater Department before pausing her studies due to an accident that resulted in injuries and burns; she later continued her training with private theater lessons. She made her television debut in 2006 with the fantasy children’s series "Selena" and went on to appear in many productions. Her lead role in the 2014 comedy series "Yesil Deniz" brought her wide recognition, but she did not return for its 2023 revival.

She also played notable roles in many productions, including "Nuri", "Benim Icin Uzulme," the film "Bensiz," the period dramas "Bir Zamanlar Osmanli: Kiyam" and "Mahsusa: Trablusgarb," as well as appearances in "Poyraz Karayel," the military series "Savasi," the historical drama "Dirilis: Ertugrul" with Engin Altan Duzyatan, the film "Romantik Komedi 2: Bekarliga Veda," and the short horror film "Cin Gecidi."
