The Duke of Sussex will take part in a charity skydive later this month, marking one of his first public appearances since moving back to the U.K. with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children.
Harry is set to hop out of an airplane to raise money for the Sunnybrook and True Patriot Love foundations, two Canadian military charities. The actual date of the event has not yet been disclosed.
Harry decided to take on the skydive after meeting 102-year-old WWII veteran Ed Marshall at Toronto's Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre last November, according to the event's announcement.
The two bonded over their shared military backgrounds and their commitment to serving their communities.
During their meeting, Marshall told Harry about the skydive he did to celebrate his 100th birthday. That story is what inspired Harry to sign up for the jump himself, organizers said.
Marshall won't be at the event in person, but his grandson Bailey is expected to attend in his honor.
This isn't Harry's first time working with these organizations; True Patriot Love helped bring his Invictus Games to Canada in both 2017 and 2025.
Harry created the Games for wounded and ill service members after his own decade in the British Army, which included two Afghanistan deployments as an Apache pilot and Forward Air Controller.
