Residential sales data for 2025 has been released. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Istanbul led the country with 280,362 homes sold. Buyers mainly preferred districts along the Marmara coast and areas with affordable housing options.

Kadikoy, one of the most central and popular districts on the Asian side, is also among the top-selling districts.
6. Kartal — 10,495 homes sold
Kartal, along the Marmara coast, became an important district for both investors and families.
5. Beylikduzu — 11,422 homes sold
Beylikduzu on the European side, close to the Marmara coast, is preferred for its large-scale housing projects and affordable prices.
4. Bahcelievler — 12,105 homes sold
Located close to the city center, Bahcelievler offers convenient living options and ranks high in sales.
3. Basaksehir — 12,854 homes sold
With planned urban development and new residential projects, Basaksehir is among the most attractive districts for buyers.
2. Pendik — 12,861 homes sold
Pendik, on the Asian side near the Marmara coast, ranks second due to its coastal location and transport advantages.
