Colombian pop star Shakira said Kylian Mbappe was the first footballer to agree to appear in the music video for her new song "Dai Dai," speaking before France beat Morocco 2-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals.

Shakira watched the match from the stands with her family at Gillette Stadium in Boston-Foxborough, where France moved into the semifinals. Mbappe scored once, set up Ousmane Dembele for another goal and was named Player of the Match.
