Snow depth at ski resorts across Türkiye has reached seasonal highs, with the deepest accumulation measured at 236 centimeters (92.9 inches) in the eastern province of Hakkari, according to data compiled from the Meteorology General Directorate (MGM).
The figures show strong snowfall across major winter tourism destinations, particularly in eastern and central regions, as Türkiye’s ski season continues through February.
Officials reported that several popular resorts also recorded snow levels above 200 centimeters, indicating favorable conditions for winter sports.

The data shows that eastern resorts continue to receive the heaviest snowfall, while western destinations recorded lower snow levels.
Weather forecasts for Feb. 14 show freezing conditions at many ski centers, particularly in eastern Türkiye.

Other major destinations such as Kartalkaya, Ergan and Erciyes are expected to see partly cloudy conditions with temperatures mostly below 7 degrees Celsius.
Meteorological data indicate that cold weather and continued snowfall in eastern regions support strong ski conditions, while milder temperatures in western resorts may affect snow preservation.
