Formal reception at Al Yamamah Palace

Upon arriving at Al Yamamah Palace, Erdogan received a formal ceremonial welcome from Crown Prince Muhammed bin Selman. The two leaders stood for the playing of both countries' national anthems before walking together to the palace entrance in conversation.

Following introductions between the delegations from both nations, Erdogan and the crown prince participated in talks between their respective teams at the palace. The discussions were closed to the press.

Crown Prince Muhammed bin Selman later hosted a dinner in Erdogan's honor at Al Yamamah Palace. The evening event was also held behind closed doors without media access.

Erdogan will travel to Cairo on Wednesday at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to co-chair the second meeting of the Türkiye-Egypt High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, Communications Director Duran said.

During the Egypt visit, Erdogan and Sisi are expected to discuss bilateral issues and exchange views on regional and international developments, with particular focus on Palestine, Duran further said.

Erdogan also plans to attend a Türkiye-Egypt Business Forum during his Cairo visit, he added.
