A forest fire broke out in a wooded area in the Colak Ibrahim neighborhood of the Seferihisar district in Izmir at 1:05 p.m. local time.
Teams from the Izmir Forestry Regional Directorate responded promptly, combating the flames with three airplanes and three helicopters from the air, alongside 14 fire trucks, three water supply vehicles, and three bulldozers on the ground.
Efforts are underway to contain the fire.
