A wind-driven forest fire in Mugla's Seydikemer district has led authorities to evacuate 65 residents from 43 homes, clear out parts of a nearby hospital, and shut down a major road as firefighting operations continue from the air and ground.

The fire initially broke out in an agricultural area in Bayir neighborhood before strong winds carried the flames into nearby woodland, causing the blaze to spread rapidly.
