Havelsan has completed the first embedded simulation system integration for an airborne platform in Türkiye with the Hurjet jet trainer, while also delivering the first version of software for the Kaan national combat aircraft's embedded training system, Havelsan CEO Mehmet Akif Nacar announced.

"The Phase-1 Factory Acceptance Tests for the Hurjet Embedded Training System Project, which is positioned inside Hurjet and will enable pilots to receive training during flight, have been successfully completed," Nacar told state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) on Wednesday.

"We have also delivered the first version software of the embedded training system developed for the National Combat Aircraft Kaan, and we have started work on the second version," he added.

6th generation work planned for Kaan

Nacar revealed that manned and unmanned work toward 6th-generation capabilities is planned for Kaan.

"Some work toward 6th generation, manned and unmanned, is being planned for Kaan. I would like to note that our embedded systems will be in play as a development-supporting tool within the scope of 6th generation work," Nacar said.

Net sales exceed $500 million, up 25%

Nacar said Havelsan increased its net sales by approximately 25% compared to the previous year, exceeding $500 million in 2025.

"Our export figures increased by 5% compared to last year, accounting for approximately 25% of our total sales. We increased our total backlog by 15% and our overseas backlog by 16%. Based on these data, I can say that we have achieved our financial targets," Nacar noted.

General Manager also said that Havelsan's most important export item is the Network-Enabled Data Integrated Combat Management System ADVENT, adding that, "As a result of our work, we exported ADVENT to 3 countries in 2025. The first two were Indonesia and Oman, our biggest export focuses, and the other was Chile, a South American country where we brought ADVENT's presence to a 4th continent."

First civil flight simulator export to France

Nacar said another export success came in the field of civil flight simulators.

"In this context, by cooperating with French-based Simaero company, we exported a civil full flight simulator, an A320 simulator, for the first time in Havelsan's history," Nacar said.

Nacar also announced that Havelsan developed the C-130 aircraft simulator with national capabilities and will ensure it enters the inventory soon, adding, "We have also completed the acceptance processes for the Gokbey simulator and pilot training will begin next month at an on-site training center."

NATO market: 'Things will be much better'

Nacar said their last export of the year was the Tactical Data Link Network Management Tool Software, which is among NATO's urgent priorities.

"This is like a harbinger of the sales we will make to both Europe and NATO. The NATO market is a market we attach great importance to. Next year, the NATO Industry Forum will be held in Izmir. A NATO Summit will be held in our country. We estimate that our NATO-related business will be much better after 2026," Nacar said.

Nacar said Havelsan aims to enter the Defense News Top 100 list in the coming period, noting, "In 2026, we aim to enter new country markets, get projects in countries where we have never been, and realize different projects in countries where we already exist. 2026 will be a year in which we achieve growth financially as well."

Bulut UAV and Sancar armed USV enter inventory

Nacar said Havelsan's Bulut fixed-wing Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system and Sancar armed unmanned surface vessel (AUSV) were added to the inventory in 2025.

"In 2023, our unmanned ground vehicle Barkan, and in 2024, our unmanned aerial vehicle BAHA entered the inventory. In 2025, our Bulut UAV system and our Sancar armed unmanned surface vessel were included in the inventory," he added.

He noted that Havelsan is a software-focused company rather than a platform-focused one, developing platforms through solution partners while integrating software solutions.

Havelsan CEO noted that one of the important technology areas on their agenda is "multi-domain operations."

"By foreseeing the fundamental changes that multi-domain operations and cross-domain command concepts in the future operating environment will bring in the command and control field, we are now extending the experience we have gained to our underwater platforms," Nacar said.

Mini submarine to MILDEN vision

Nacar said Havelsan has started R&D work on developing Compact Mission Systems for mini submarines and unmanned underwater vehicles that will widely use "Operational Intelligence" and "Operational Autonomy" capabilities.

"With the Network-Enabled Warfare Capability that ADVENT MUREN will provide, 4th Generation Submarine Command and Control System and Submarine Warfare Operations Center Orchestration Concepts, we have created the MILDEN Command and Control Vision. I can say that we are ready for MILDEN," Nacar concluded.
