A social media influencer in Türkiye has alleged that she was threatened after filing a complaint against a doctor following cosmetic surgery complications, according to local media reports.
Zehra Sarican, who lives in Istanbul, said her life “turned into a nightmare” after undergoing breast aesthetic surgery. She claimed the procedure led to serious health issues and forced her to undergo multiple follow-up operations.
According to Sabah, Sarican filed a complaint against the doctor identified as G.T. after experiencing complications.
Influencer Zehra Sarican alleged that the threats began after she filed the complaint.
She said two individuals came to the door of her family home in Sakarya, where she lives with her mother, carrying flowers. The visitors reportedly told her the delivery was related to the ongoing case.
According to her statement, the individuals claimed they had been sent by the doctor and had received instructions to assault her. The suspects allegedly forcefully entered the house but fled after Sarican began recording the incident on her phone.
A note left behind read: “Bullets for everyone, daisies for you.”
Sarican reported the incident to the police and requested that the suspects be identified and detained. Authorities have launched efforts to locate those involved.
Speaking about the incident, Sarican said she feared for her life and called for protection. “I don’t want to die. I am very afraid. Protect me,” she said.
Zehra Sarican also stated that the complications following the surgery were severe.
She said she nearly lost her breast due to the procedures and is currently receiving treatment at a university hospital in an effort to recover her health.
