An operation tied to an Istanbul-based drug investigation has reached Lucca, a well-known restaurant in Bebek, Istanbul, with several social media figures detained and arrest orders issued for singer Cem Adrian and actor Ilker Inanoglu, who were reported to be abroad.
According to information shared as part of the investigation, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office carried out the operation within a broader probe into alleged drug-related offenses. The case also covers accusations linked to encouraging prostitution or acting as an intermediary, as well as making the use of narcotic or stimulant substances easier.
As part of the latest phase of the investigation, police raided Lucca in Bebek, an upscale neighborhood on the European side of Istanbul. Authorities said several well-known names were taken into custody during the operation.
Among those detained were social media personalities Samet Licina, Mika Slowana, and Elif Karaaslan. Lucca owner Cem Mirap was also reportedly among those taken into custody.
The investigation also led prosecutors to issue detention orders for actor Ilker Inanoglu and singer Cem Adrian.
Authorities said both were found to be abroad, which meant they were not detained during the operation.q
In a statement, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said the investigation covers the alleged crimes of purchasing, accepting, possessing, or using narcotic or stimulant substances for personal use, encouraging or mediating prostitution, and facilitating the use of such substances.
The statement said narcotics police carried out operations starting at 11 p.m. on April 11, 2026, targeting 24 suspects in total, including 17 in Istanbul, one outside the city, and six abroad. Authorities also carried out search operations at four businesses.
Prosecutors said 17 suspects with addresses in Istanbul were detained, while searches were completed at the businesses in question.
During those searches, one person wanted for intentional injury was also caught at one of the businesses and handed over to the relevant police unit.
The prosecutor's office said judicial procedures were continuing carefully under its coordination and that the investigation remained ongoing in all aspects.
