Police data reveals the city's security landscape, highlighting areas with concentrated criminal activity. The data is based on 2024 figures, as 2025 figures have not been revealed yet.

10. Beyoglu - 10,762 Crimes

Beyoğlu, Istanbul’s historic and touristic hub, recorded approximately 10,762 crimes in 2024, placing it at the lower end of the top 10. Incidents are concentrated in nightlife areas, shopping streets, and tourist spots, with theft and public order violations being the most frequent. The busy nightlife contributes to elevated crime levels despite ongoing police patrols.

9. Sisli - 10,910 Crimes
