President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is travelling to Azerbaijan on Friday to attend the Victory Day ceremony in Baku, held on the occasion of Nov. 8.
According to Türkiye’s Presidency of Communications, President Erdogan will take part in the official celebrations and is expected to hold bilateral meetings during his visit.
President Erdogan is scheduled to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who will also attend the ceremony.
The leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments, according to a statement shared by Communications Director Burhanettin Duran on social media.

The official ceremony in Baku brings together senior officials and foreign dignitaries to mark the anniversary.
President Erdogan’s visit underlines the close relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as well as ongoing regional cooperation involving Pakistan.
