Türkiye will deliver five naval platforms to three different navies in a comprehensive ceremony at Istanbul Shipyard Command on Dec. 20, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in attendance, the Ministry of National Defense announced.
The ceremony will include deliveries, commissioning and new construction milestones marking a significant day for the Turkish defense industry's naval exports and domestic programs.
The Pakistan Navy will receive Khaibar, the second corvette built under the Pakistan MILGEM Project.
The MILGEM (National Corvette Project) program represents one of Türkiye's flagship naval export projects, with Pakistan ordering four Ada-class corvettes. The first ship, PNS Babur, was delivered in 2022.
Romania will take delivery of TCG Akhisar, built under the Offshore Patrol Vessel Project. The delivery marks another export success for Türkiye's growing naval shipbuilding industry.

The ceremony will also include a flag-raising ceremony for TCG Kochisar.
Additionally, steel cutting will take place for the seventh vessel under the Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) Project, signaling continued momentum in Türkiye's naval construction programs.
Turkish Defense Ministry Spokesperson Rear Adm. Zeki Akturk said Türkiye's defense industry has proven itself globally through a proud history of development.
"Our defense industry continues to contribute to making our Turkish Armed Forces stronger, better equipped, and more prepared with critical systems developed in land, sea, air platforms, and the cyber domain," Akturk said.
The Land Forces Command has taken delivery of L-UMTAS laser-guided long-range anti-tank missiles, Hisar-O medium-altitude air defense missile systems, KARAOK anti-tank weapon systems, modernized M60T tanks, and Bayraktar TB-3 UAVs following inspection and acceptance procedures.
The seventh T-70 helicopter under the general-purpose helicopter project is planned to enter the air force's inventory on Dec. 23.
