Türkiye denies claims of fighter jet support for Israel

The Directorate of Communications' Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) has refuted claims circulating on social media that Turkish fighter jets were deployed to protect Israel, labeling the reports as false and misleading.

In a statement shared on its official social media accounts, the DMM described the allegations as disinformation, stating that Türkiye remains committed to peace and stability in the Middle East.

"The Turkish Armed Forces, the pride of our nation, are the guarantor of peace and security," the statement read. "Our Ministry of National Defense, along with all its affiliated units, continues to resolutely safeguard the rights and interests of our airspace."

The statement further emphasized that Türkiye opposes all actions by Israel that threaten regional peace and stability and that supporting any hostile act is out of the question.

"This is respectfully announced to the public," it concluded.
