Minister of National Defense Yasar Guler met in Istanbul with General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan—a close ally and brotherly nation to Türkiye.
The meeting was also attended by Türkiye’s Land Forces Commander, General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu.
Earlier in the day, General Bayraktaroglu and General Munir held a separate bilateral meeting in Istanbul, focusing on mutual defense cooperation and military relations between the two countries.
The Ministry of National Defense referred to Pakistan as a "brotherly nation" in its official statement, underscoring the historical and strategic depth of the relationship.
