Scrap dealers face legal action over stolen bell

As part of the investigation, authorities also launched legal proceedings against three scrap dealers who purchased the stolen bell. They are being investigated on suspicion of purchasing or accepting property obtained through a crime.

The bell, originally presented to Yalova by Japan's Tonami municipality as a symbol of friendship between the sister cities, was handed over to the Yalova Municipality's Parks and Gardens Department so it could be returned to its original display location.
