Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will travel to Qatar on Dec. 6–7, 2025, to attend the 23rd Doha Forum, which will be hosted by the Qatari Foreign Ministry, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced.
According to the statement, Fidan is expected to speak in two sessions during the forum.
On Dec. 6, he will participate in the opening session titled “Mediation in an Age of Fragmentation.”
He will also be a speaker in a “newsmaker” interview session titled “Shaping the Security Architecture in the Middle East and Türkiye’s Activities to Ensure Stability in the Region.”
During his visit, Fidan will also hold bilateral meetings with several counterparts on the margins of the forum.
The Doha Forum is described as a respected diplomatic platform where regional and international issues are discussed.
This year’s forum will be held under the theme “Delivering Justice: From Promises to Concrete Reality.”
Heads of state and government, ministers, senior officials from international organizations, representatives of think tanks, academics and experts are expected to attend.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) is listed among the content partners of this year’s Doha Forum.
