Two internationally wanted Turkish criminals—Abdullah Alp Ustun, alias “Don Vito,” sought under a Red Notice, and Hasan Lala, targeted with a Diffusion Notice—were apprehended in the United Arab Emirates and extradited to Türkiye on Oct. 11.
Interior Minister Yerlikaya confirmed their transfer and said they will face prosecution under Turkish law.
“Abdullah Alp Ustun, a drug lord known by the nickname ‘Don Vito’ and internationally wanted with a Red Notice, along with Hasan Lala, a member of an organized crime group wanted internationally with a Red Diffusion Message, was captured in the United Arab Emirates and extradited to our country early this morning,” Yerlikaya said in a statement on X.
