The Kfir Brigade, also known as Brigade 900, is a regular infantry brigade in the Israeli army. Established in 2005, it was initially part of the "Idan Formation." In September 2020, it was reassigned to the "Bazak Formation" (Division 99) and restructured as an infantry-fire brigade.
The Kfir Brigade is the largest infantry brigade in the Israeli army, comprising four battalions and a reconnaissance unit. It operates throughout all areas where the Israeli army is active. Colonel Yaniv Barot has served as the brigade's commander since August 2023.
