6-point agreement

The full text of the agreement states:

Article 1: U.S. President Donald Trump will announce that the war in the Gaza Strip has ended and that parties have agreed to implement the necessary steps for this purpose.

Article 2: The war will end immediately upon approval by the Israeli government. All military operations, including air and artillery bombardment and targeting operations, will be suspended. During the 72 hours, air surveillance will be suspended in areas from which the Israeli army has withdrawn.

Article 3: Full entry of humanitarian aid and support materials will begin immediately, as determined in the proposal and in accordance with the minimum humanitarian aid agreement dated Jan. 19.

Israeli withdrawal from Gaza timeline

Article 4: The Israeli army will withdraw to mutually agreed lines on map number X presented in the annex. This withdrawal will be completed within 24 hours following President Trump's announcement and Israeli government approval. Process on Israeli hostages' release

Article 5: All Israeli hostages, both living and dead, in Gaza will be released within 72 hours following the Israeli army's withdrawal.

The article details several sub-points:

a. After the Israeli army completes the withdrawal, Hamas will begin investigating the status of hostages and collect all information about them. Hamas will provide feedback on its findings through the information-sharing mechanism specified in Article 5. Israel will provide information about Palestinian prisoners and detainees from the Gaza Strip held in Israel.

b. Within 72 hours, Hamas will release all living hostages, including those held by Palestinian groups in Gaza.

c. Within 72 hours, Hamas will hand over the bodies of dead hostages it holds and those held by Palestinian groups in Gaza.

d. Within 72 hours, Hamas will share all information it has obtained about any remaining dead hostages through the information-sharing mechanism specified in paragraph (e) below. Israel will provide information about the bodies of dead Gazans it holds.

e. An information-sharing mechanism will be established between the two parties through mediators and the International Committee of the Red Cross to exchange information about dead hostages not retrieved in 72 hours or bodies of Gazans held by Israel. The mechanism will ensure full and safe exhumation and handover of all hostages' bodies. Hamas will make maximum efforts to fulfill these commitments as soon as possible.

f. As Hamas releases all hostages, Israel will release corresponding numbers of Palestinian detainees in parallel according to the pre-made lists.

g. The exchange of hostages and detainees will take place according to the mutually agreed mechanism through mediators and under the International Committee of the Red Cross supervision. No public ceremony or media broadcast will be held during this process.
