UN monitors Israeli evacuation warnings for Tehran

U.N. Human Rights Office Spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan stated they are closely monitoring the process following Israel's "evacuation warnings" for Tehran, noting serious concerns that some attacks occurred in populated areas where civilian casualties were reported, particularly in the capital.

Al-Kheetan responded in writing to an AA correspondent's question: "The Israeli army issued evacuation warnings for extensive areas of Tehran, as it did in Gaza and Lebanon."

"As you will recall, many civilian casualties occurred after Israel's these demands. How do you evaluate this evacuation demand for Tehran? Are you concerned about this situation?"

"We are aware of reports that thousands of residents fled from some areas of the capital, Tehran, as a result of these warnings covering large areas, and we are closely monitoring the situation. There are serious concerns that some attacks occurred in populated areas where civilian casualties were reported, particularly in the capital," Al-Kheetan said.

Al-Kheetan emphasized that both sides must fully comply with international humanitarian law, including the principles of distinction, proportionality, and precaution in any attack.

"Parties must constantly exercise care to protect the civilian population, civilians, and civilian objects as required by international law," Al-Kheetan said.

Iranian Nuclear Chief: 'Nuclear facilities status is good'

Speaking to Iranian state television, Eslami provided information on the latest situation of nuclear facilities in the country.

"The status of nuclear facilities is good. Staff morale is high," Eslami said.

Iranian Atomic Energy Organization Spokesperson Behrouz Kamalvandi said a few days ago that after Israel attacked the Fordow Nuclear Facility in Qom city, minor damage occurred at the facility, but no nuclear contamination occurred, while after the attack on the Natanz Nuclear Facility in Isfahan city, nuclear contamination occurred inside the facility, but this contamination did not spread outside the facility.
