Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned Tuesday it would act against American infrastructure and that of its partners "in a way that will deprive the Americans and their allies of regional oil and gas for years."

IRGC noted that they'll act if U.S. President Donald Trump follows through on his threat to strike Iranian power plants and bridges, declaring that all restraints toward Gulf neighbors have been removed.

The IRGC issued the warning in a statement carried by multiple Iranian media outlets on Tuesday.

"Regional American partners should know that, until now we have exercised significant restraint for the sake of good neighborliness and have taken precautions in selecting retaliatory targets, but from now on, all such precautions have been removed," the statement read.

The corps said it would "act against American infrastructure and its partners in a way that will deprive the Americans and its allies of regional oil and gas for years."

Deadline looms as IRGC signals widest possible retaliation

Mediators from Pakistan, Egypt and Türkiye have been working to broker a last-minute agreement or extension of the deadline.

Iran submitted a 10-point response to peace proposals on Monday, which the White House viewed as a negotiating position rather than a rejection.

Since Feb. 28, U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran have killed more than 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes on Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting U.S. military assets, while restricting movement through the Strait of Hormuz.
