The Israeli army on Monday issued an urgent warning to all civilians in a specified area of District 3 in Tehran, calling for immediate evacuation ahead of what it described as a possible military operation against Iranian infrastructure.
In a statement shared on social media, Israeli army spokesperson for Arabic media Avichay Adraee warned that military action could take place “within the coming hours” in the designated zone. The warning follows recent operations in and around the Iranian capital in which Israel claims to have targeted strategic military sites.
“For your safety and security, we urge you to leave the area marked on the attached map immediately,” the spokesperson said. “Your presence there puts your life in danger.”
The message, written in Arabic and Persian, was accompanied by a map showing a clearly outlined section of Tehran’s District 3. Israeli officials did not disclose further details on the timing or nature of the potential strike.
The warning comes amid intensifying military exchanges between Israel and Iran in recent days. Iran has accused Israel of violating its sovereignty and using American weapons in attacks that reportedly killed several senior commanders and nuclear scientists.
