A Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Prague experienced a tail strike during a go-around maneuver while attempting to land at Prague Airport on May 11.
The aircraft, Airbus A321neo, reportedly struck its tail on the runway while aborting the landing during its initial approach to Vaclav Havel Airport.
The aircraft safely touched down on its second attempt without further incident. Following the landing, the aircraft was taken out of service for inspection and maintenance. The return flight from Prague to Istanbul was subsequently cancelled.
