The U.S. Embassy in Israel has warned its personnel not to travel outside the cities of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Beersheba, citing escalating regional tensions.

In a written statement, the embassy said the decision was made in response to growing security concerns in the area.

Staff members and their families have been instructed to remain within the designated cities until further notice.

American citizens residing in Israel were also urged to exercise heightened caution due to what the embassy described as a “complex and rapidly changing” security environment.

U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking Wednesday, noted that the administration had decided to withdraw some personnel from parts of the Middle East as the region risked becoming increasingly dangerous.
