Acun Ilicali-owned Hull City parts ways with coach Ruben Selles

Hull City, the English Championship club owned by Acun Ilicali, has announced the departure of head coach Ruben Selles.

The Spanish manager, who took charge in December 2024, has left the club, the announcement confirmed.

Hull City secured their place in the Championship next season after finishing 21st on goal difference, following a draw against Portsmouth in their final match.

Arda Turan’s name previously mentioned

Among the potential replacements was Arda Turan, the current manager of Eyupspor.

However, with Turan expected to become the head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk, he is reportedly no longer being considered for the Hull City position.
