Sengun logged 32 minutes at Toyota Center, putting up 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists, along with two steals and three blocks, to help the Western Conference’s third-place Rockets secure their 36th win of the season.
Reed Sheppard led the Rockets in scoring with 28 points, while Kevin Durant added 21 points to strengthen the home team’s advantage.
Sacramento, which suffered its 47th loss of the season, was led by Russell Westbrook with 22 points. DeMar DeRozan and Nique Clifford each scored 15 points in the defeat.
Despite the loss, DeRozan reached a career milestone, bringing his total to 26,406 points. The veteran guard moved past John Havlicek (26,395) and Paul Pierce (26,397) to enter the NBA’s top 20 all-time regular-season scorers list.
In another game, the Detroit Pistons defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 124-116 at Little Caesars Arena.
Detroit, which leads the Eastern Conference standings, earned its 43rd win of the season.
Cade Cunningham recorded 29 points and 13 assists, while Jalen Duren matched him with 29 points and added 15 rebounds.
Oklahoma City, sitting at the top of the Western Conference despite the loss, could not avoid its 15th defeat of the season.
Jaylin Williams led the Thunder with 30 points and 11 rebounds, and Cason Wallace contributed 23 points.
