Trabzonspor has stepped up its search for a high-profile midfielder, with Leandro Paredes and Yves Bissouma emerging as the club's two main targets as the Black Sea side continues an aggressive summer transfer campaign.
After making headlines by signing Mohamed Salah, Trabzonspor is also close to bringing in Darwin Nunez and is now looking to strengthen the center of the pitch as the club builds a championship-ready squad.
According to Sozcu, Trabzonspor is holding talks over both Paredes and Bissouma, with the club aiming to bring in one of the two players.
The management hopes the addition of another established name will further strengthen the squad while keeping up the momentum generated by its summer recruitment drive.
Trabzonspor has meanwhile moved closer to completing a deal for Nunez after turning its attention to the Uruguayan forward following Salah's arrival.
The club is preparing to take Nunez on loan from Al-Hilal as it continues putting together a squad built around its championship target.
Trabzonspor has already brought in Aral Simsir, Ernest Muci, Noah Saviolo, Cabral, Mitongo, Cenk Ozkacar, Melih Kabasakal, Mohamed Salah, Malinovskyi, Samet Akaydin, Metehan Mimaroglu, Thierry Karadeniz and Andre Onana during the transfer window.
