Turkish racing driver Ayhancan Guven has made history by winning the 2025 German Touring Car Championship (DTM). The final race took place at the famous Hockenheimring in Germany, where Guven started from second place and finished first after an impressive performance.

With this victory, Guven became the first Turkish driver ever to win a DTM championship, marking a proud moment for Turkish motorsport.

Guven is classified in the “Gold” category by the FIA and is the only Turkish driver in this group. He also competes as a Porsche Factory Driver and has represented Türkiye internationally with great success. Supported by Red Bull since 2019, this win proves that he is one of the best drivers in the world.

Youth and sports minister congratulates Guven

Türkiye’s Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Askin Bak, congratulated Guven on his historic championship victory and his outstanding performances throughout the season.

“I sincerely congratulate Ayhancan Guven for his remarkable achievements in the 2025 DTM season. From strong wins at Oschersleben and Zandvoort to his consistent performance in Austria and the thrilling finale at Hockenheimring, he has shown skill, determination, and composure. This success is a proud milestone for Turkish motorsport, and I thank everyone who supported him. I wish Ayhancan continued victories in the future,” said Bak.
