Bayern Munich has broken a 54-year-old Bundesliga record for most goals scored in a single season after a dominant 5-0 away victory over St. Pauli.

The league leaders produced a dominant performance on matchday 29, with goals from Jamal Musiala (9’), Leon Goretzka (53’), Michael Olise (54’), Nicolas Jackson (65’), and Raphael Guerreiro (88’).

The result takes Bayern Munich’s league tally to 105 goals this season, surpassing their previous record of 101 goals, which had stood since the 1971–72 campaign.

Historic milestone surpassed

The previous record, set 54 years ago by Bayern Munich’s legendary side, had remained unmatched in Bundesliga history.

With five matches still to play, the current squad has now established a new benchmark for attacking productivity in the competition.

Strong position in the title race

The victory strengthens Bayern Munich’s position at the top of the Bundesliga table with 76 points. FC St. Pauli remain on 25 points following the defeat and continue their battle in the lower half of the standings.
