Turkish Super Lig clubs Besiktas and Fenerbahce are both intensifying their efforts in the transfer market as the new season gets underway.

Besiktas, unbeaten and yet to concede a goal across six matches in European qualifiers and the Super Lig, is pursuing several signings to strengthen its squad.

The club is considering two options for the midfield: Tobias Moi of Norway's Viking or Joe Willock of Newcastle United. For the right wing, Besiktas is in talks with three players: Fares Ghedjemis of Frosinone, David Neres of Napoli and Dodi Lukebakio of Benfica.

The club's management is aiming to complete its midfield and right-wing signings by next week.

Fenerbahce eyes young French right back

Fenerbahce, meanwhile, is preparing to open talks with German club Wolfsburg over Sael Kumbedi, a rising talent in French football who currently plays right back for the Bundesliga side.

The move comes after the Turkish Football Federation introduced a "10+4" rule limiting the number of foreign players clubs can register, prompting Fenerbahce to shift its recruitment focus toward talents under the age of 23. As part of that strategy, the club has stepped up efforts to strengthen its defense.

According to agents who proposed the player to Fenerbahce, the 21-year-old Kumbedi has drawn attention for his physical strength and dynamism on the right flank.

Wolfsburg is reportedly open to a loan deal for Kumbedi to allow the young defender to continue his development.
